The Center for Digital Archaeology offers four-day immersive training in several digital methodologies, including digital photography, multimedia microhistory narratives, and 3D modeling.
This immersive, Digital Imaging for Archaeology, was held on June 8-11, 2011, at the lab of the Center for Digital Archaeology at 2224 Piedmont Avenue, Berkeley, CA. Michael Ashley, PhD. and archaeological photographer, led the students, who ranged from undergraduates to CRM professionals, in developing marketable skills for archaeological research and museum documentation. It involved both studio artifact photography and various field methodologies, including basic camera and processing skills.
